What’s a program?
A program is a major with a degree (B.S., M.S., M.Eng., or Ph.D.), a doctoral minor, a named option, or a certificate.
Where can I find a list of programs?
Program information displays in Guide for current and prospective students. Each Guide entry has a corresponding entry in Lumen Programs.
Something in Guide needs an update. How can we change it?
It depends what kind of content needs updating. Some content changes must be approved at various levels. Other changes are easier. Update a program.
How can we propose a new program?
In brief, you’ll need to write a proposal that then goes through several governance steps (department, college, grad school [if applicable], and university). Learn more about new program proposals.
I’m a Lumen Programs approver for our department. What do I need to know?
Congratulations! You’ll approve programs on behalf of the department and also send a message with the approval information. Learn more about program approvals in Lumen.
